🛠 How to Set Up Google Shopping in FastCommerce
1. Connect Your Google Account
From your FastCommerce admin, go to Channels > Google Shopping, and click Setup. On the Google Shopping page, connect your Google Account to get started.
2. Connect Your Google Merchant Center Account
Next, select your Google Merchant Center account on the same page, and click Connect.
3. Verify Your Online Store
To verify your store, go to your Google Merchant Center and find the HTML tag verification code. Copy the code, paste it into the verification field in FastCommerce, and click Save.
Then, return to Merchant Center and click Verify your online store.
4. Complete Google Merchant Center Setup
Finish any required settings in your Merchant Center. Once done, go back to FastCommerce and click Check Verification to confirm.
5. Choose Your Product Source
Select which products you want to sync — All Products, Selected Products, or Selected Categories — and click Save.
6. Map Your Categories
Match your store categories with the corresponding Google categories, ensuring your products appear under the right listings. After reviewing the mapping, click Save.
7. Sync Your Products
Once everything’s set, click Product Sync. Review your mapping, then click Start Importing.
Your selected products will automatically sync to Google Shopping.
📊 View and Manage Your Product Feed
After syncing, you can view your feed anytime.
From your FastCommerce admin, go to Channels > Google Shopping > Manage.
Here you can see which products are synced and their current status in Google Merchant Center:
- Approved – Product is live on Google Shopping.
- Pending – Product is under review by Google.
- Disapproved – Product was rejected due to missing or incorrect info (check Merchant Center for details).
